RUMFORD – Physical therapist Hope Calderwood now manages the Rumford Hospital Rehabilitation Department.
Calderwood came to Rumford Hospital in 2006. A Maine native, she returned to her home state after working on the West Coast. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University and a master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Indianapolis. She is pursuing her doctorate.
She has extensive experience in geriatrics and adult neurological rehabilitation and is a certified lymphedema therapist.
She enjoys all aspects of being a physical therapist, but has a special interest in functional mobility for the geriatric population.
