JAY – Announcement is made of the engagement of Randi Boivin and Steve Cook, both of Virginia.
Miss Boivin is the daughter of Wayne and Diane Danforth and Ripley and Jeff Boivin of Jay. She is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is currently a recruiters assistant at Sentara Hospital.
Mr. Cook is the son of Mark and Donna Bickford of Jay and Floyd Cook of New Portland. He is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is currently an engineer at International Paper.
The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. Sept. 1 at Sunday River Ski Resort.
