AUBURN – Now that E.S.M. has won the playoff championship in the Auburn Rec Players Softball League, that sets up the Twin City Championship tourney. E.S.M. defeated Major Automotive Wednesday night in the deciding game.
On Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 6:00 at Pettengill, Major Automotive, Auburn Players League runner-up, will be taking on the Ball Busters, American Division winner in the Lewiston Rec Men’s Softball League. At 7:30, E.S.M. will trade hits with Lewiston’s National Division king, 20-M Club.
A coin toss will determine home teams.
On Wednesday, Sept. 5, the second game of each best-of-3 series will take place at Pettengill at 6:00 and 7:30.
Should either series be 1-1 at that point, the deciding game(s) is slated for Thursday, Sept. 6.
