LEWISTON – Kim Pelkey, a Modern Woodmen of America representative at the district office, 184 Webster St., has completed a five-day advanced educational program at Modern Woodmen’s home office in Rock Island, Ill.

The program covered estate-planning topics, including property ownership and estate administration, wills and intestacy, federal estate taxation and gross estate valuation, as well as estate liquidity insurance.

The seminar also addressed taxation on life insurance and annuities, estate-planning techniques, charitable giving concepts and more.
