Many people on Lisbon street Tuesday afternoon about 2 o’clock noticed the large tally-ho drawn by five chestnut horses and wondered who the people were.
The horses were arranged in a manner seldom seen here.
There were three leaders abreast and two wheel horses.
A led horse was also in the rear.
The party was Mr. and Mrs. Edward Browning, and wife of Philadelphia, Master Edwards Browning Jr., a maid, coachman and footman.
The party came to Lewiston Sunday from Bar Harbor where Mr. Browning attended the horse show last week.

This year’s event will take place Sunday, Sept. 15, when our Red Sox battle the Detroit Tigers in a doubleheader. The object of the day is to boost Maine and its products.

A survey by The Associated Press has found what appears to be a record dollar amount of rate hike requests now pending before state utility commissions – an estimated $6.2 billion in annual revenues.
