JAY – Chris Schwarz notched three goals to pace Telstar to a 5-1 boys’ soccer victory over Jay.

Schwarz netted a goal from the 18-yard line, scored one as it ricocheted off a Jay defenseman, and tallied another off a penalty kick.

Frankie Delduca scored a goal for the Rebels (2-0) and recorded two assists, while Ben Cross rounded out the offensive effort with a goal.

The lone Jay (0-2) goal was scored by Nathan Delavan off an assist from Greg Spencer in the first half.

Dirigo 4, Monmouth 1

DIXFIELD – Dirigo’s John Smith was on fire, scoring all four of the Cougars goals in a 4-1 triumph over Monmouth in MVC soccer action Tuesday.

Smith scored three consecutive goals in the first half. Eric Bolduc was credited with two assists, while Tyler Gates recorded an assist as well for Dirigo (1-0-1). Keeper Archie Ray turned aside seven shots.

Josh Boisvert scored on a direct kick for the lone goal by the Mustangs (0-2). Dylan Reny made 17 saves.

Mt. Blue 2, Nokomis 0

NEWPORT – Zac Conlogue and Jay Smith each registered a goal apiece as Mt. Blue beat Nokomis 2-0 in a soccer contest Tuesday afternoon.

Conlogue tallied the first score for the Cougars (2-0) off a feed across the goalmouth from Alex Lee. Jay Smith netted the second goal from Ben Russell off a corner kick. Devin Zamboni needed just five saves for the shutout.

Mark Gustin had a strong performance, turning aside 12 shots for Nokomis (0-2).

Cony 1, Leavitt 1

TURNER – After two hard-fought overtimes, Cony and Leavitt drew to a 1-1 tie in a KVAC soccer match.

Nathanial Jacobs put Leavitt (0-1-1) on the board first with 3:20 left in the first half after picking up a feed from Ben Parkins. Cony (0-2) tied the game at 32:52 left in the contest when Isaiah Juarez fired a shot into the bottom corner.

Leavitt split its netminding duties between Tyler Robitaille and Zack Caldwell, who combined for four saves, while Cony’s keeper James Ness made 17 saves.

Mt. Ararat 0, EL 0

AUBURN – Mt. Ararat and Edward Little fought an aggressive game that would end in a 0-0 tie in boys’ soccer action Tuesday.

Both teams played solid defensive games. For Mt. Ararat (0-0-2), Bryan Bousquet-Smith stopped four shots, while Eddies’ (1-0-1) keeper Josh Mains made seven saves.

St. Dom’s 4, Gray-NG 2

GRAY – Jackson Ericson and Matt Barlion netted two goals each to propel St. Dom’s to a 4-2 victory over Gray-New Gloucester in a WMC boy’s soccer matchup Tuesday.

The teams finished the first half tied 2-2 before the Saints (2-0) revved up their offense. Aaron Allen made eight saves to record the win.

The Patriots (0-2) received both goals from Ben Capano, while Joe Ripley turned aside eight shots between the posts.
