POLAND – The Poland Players will hold auditions for the first show of the 2007-2008 season, “Camelot,” today and Thursday, Sept. 6.
The musical features strong central characters, plus an ensemble chorus performing such memorable songs as “The Lusty Month of May” and “If Ever I Should Leave You.”
Auditions will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Dr. Robert Wall Theatre at Poland Regional High School. Auditioners should be ready to sing a short song and to read from the script. There are speaking parts for at least 10 males from age 16 to 75 and six women from age 16 to 40, as well as an all-age chorus.
Musicians, tumblers, jugglers, dancers and actors welcome.
