LEWISTON – The Maine Table Tennis League will officially begin its 12th season on September 10 at 5 p.m. at Lewiston Armory. Entrance is to the rear of the building at 65 Central Ave. The league invites participants who want to enjoy the competition and exercise, and who are seeking fun and enjoyment. There will be assorted levels of competition.

Entry fee is $40 for adults (male and female), and $30 for those 12-under. The season will run from September through April.

League play is on Mondays, with practice times available Tuesday through Thursday evenings.

The MTTL is the only Maine club that is sanctioned by the USATT (United States of America Table Tennis) to hold tournaments. The league also has a certified USATT referee.

The league boasts 12 tables. Balls are supplied.

Participants are asked to wear a pair of non-marking sneakers.
