BATH – A guitar-focused singer/songwriter, Patty Larkin has won an unprecedented 11 Boston Music Awards. Her songs have been covered by artists ranging from modern-day chanteuse Holly Cole to pop-diva icon Cher.

She will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Chocolate Church Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $18/$20/$22.

Her most recent solo release, “Red=Luck,” is a mix Middle-Eastern flavored melodies, R&B and naked soul searching.

While Larkin’s fine guitar work has been recognized by live audiences since her emergence on the acoustic music scene, it is her skills as a producer, soundscape artist and songwriter that have garnered accolades from fans and critics alike.

The Washington Post wrote: “Larkin creates a sound that draws on both her folk-music roots and modern pop enthusiasms while allowing her literary lyrics to make themselves felt.”
