WEST MINOT – The wedding of Angela Kay Carrier and Adam Joseph Bowie was held at 5 p.m., March 23, at the West Minot Union Church. Pastor Frances Lodge officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Bowie is the daughter of Martin and Kathleen Nadeau of Hebron and Peter Carrier of Lisbon. Mr. Bowie is the son of the late Armand Paradis and Carol Bowie, formerly of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless gown with beaded bodice, side gathered at the waistline and chiffon overlay. The gown also consisted of a long elaborate train with the same beaded detail as the bodice and a long veil with beaded hand-sewn flowers. She carried a bouquet of white tulips, a large rubrom lily, pink Gerber daises, dark pink spray roses and white spray roses and a single pink rose in a hand-tied bouquet wrapped with solid white ribbon.

A friend of the bride, Mandy Pelletier, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ann Petty and Renee McPherson, friends, and Lyndsy Hollingshead, daughter of the bridegroom. Madison Pelletier, daughter of the matron of honor, was flower girl.

A friend of the bridegroom, Adam Chabot, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Seth Bowie, son of the bridegroom, and Jason Carrier, brother of the bride and friend of the bridegroom. Isaha L’Heureux, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston. The couple is residing in Jacksonville, Fla.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Southern Maine.

The bridegroom graduated from high school and is serving with the U.S. Navy.
