LEWISTON – Marc R. Poirier, a financial professional with AXA Advisors in Lewiston, has earned a certificate in retirement planning from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Poirier is one of only 450 financial professionals nationwide to complete this retirement planning education program.

The Wharton School is recognized around the world for its academic strengths at every level of business education. The retirement education program is a customized program developed for AXA Equitable to provide AXA Advisors’ financial professionals with intensive training in retirement planning.

In addition to the Wharton certificate in retirement planning, Poirier holds the NASD Series 1, 63, and 65 licenses.

He has also received numerous company and industry honors throughout his 34-year career with AXA Advisors, including three Centurion awards, 19 National Leaders Corp. awards and induction into the company’s Hall of Fame in 1995.

Poirier lives in Lewiston with his wife and their children.
