LEWISTON – A special meeting and celebration of the 20th anniversary of AARP Androscoggin Chapter 4077 will be held at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at the Multi-Purpose Center, Birch Street. The board of directors will meet at 12:30 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Kathy McKeone Lare of Ann’s Flower Shop, Taylor Brook Mall, Auburn.

The florist shop serves Lewiston, Auburn and surrounding communities and has been doing so for more than 40 years. The McKeone family has built a reputation on providing service to all their customers for three generations. Along with fresh flowers and plants, they offer balloons, stuffed animals, gifts and gift baskets.

They are members of the Society of American Florists, Maine State Florist and Growers Association and the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce.

A history of the chapter’s 20 years of activities will be available, and drawings will be held for attendance and a pot of gold. The meeting is open to all those age 50 and older. Refreshments will be served.
