Library sale

LIVERMORE FALLS – Treat Memorial Library will have a book sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in the auditorium downstairs in coordination with the Apple Pumpkin Festival being held that day.

The sale will feature adult and children’s fiction and nonfiction, videos, DVDs, music CDs and audios.

Donations will be accepted for books taken the day of the sale and all proceeds will be used to purchase new books for the library.

Treat Memorial is now offering wireless Internet service to patrons.

NEW SHARON – The New Sharon-Jim Ditzler Memorial Library will hold a story hour from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays, Oct. 4 and 18, Nov. 1, 15 and 29, Dec. 13 and 27, Jan. 10 and 24, Feb. 7 and 21, March 6 and 20, April 3 and 17 and May 1, 15 and 29. Children will be encouraged to learn, express, create and shine.

The library will hold a book sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6. For more information, call the library at 779-1128.
