BRUNSWICK – The mid-coast group Ron Carroll and Friends will present Hit Songs and Show Tunes of Yesteryear concerts Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29-30.

The performances will benefit the Mid Coast Hospital Auxiliary’s $150,000 pledge toward the new CT scanner, now in operation at the hospital, and health-career scholarships.

The concerts will be held at Brunswick High School’s Crooker Theater on Maquoit Road.

Performers include Ron Carroll on piano, Sheldon Bird on bass and singers Jan Crosson, Anne Olivo, Jean Shaw, Sandy Peterruti, Rob Jarratt, Neal Donovan, and Rick Horton and Bird.

Tickets are $10, general seating. Saturdays’ concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., Sunday’s at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale in several locations: Hattie’s Ice Cream Parlor, downtown Brunswick; Bookland, Cook’s Corner; Hannaford’s Supermarket, Topsham; Now You’re Cooking and Magnolia in Bath; and the MCH gift shop. Tickets will also be sold at the door and may be charged to a credit card at the MCH gift shop, 373-6018.
