This is in response to Judson Duncan’s letter of Oct. 7. In that letter, Duncan is playing blind party politics. He denies that there are “liberal colleges.”
He claims that when this nation was formed, conservatives were against the Bill of Rights being added to the Constitution. I doubt that. Where is his proof? Last I remember, the vast majority of the Founding Fathers called themselves republicans.
Duncan is more worked up about conservatives speaking at liberal colleges than about the president of Iran giving a speech. He complains that, “Conservatives never believed in free speech for everyone,” then, “Conservatives shouldn’t be allowed to speak at colleges.” What a hypocrite.
Duncan tries to make it sound as if the Democrats never lie. I know Democrats, and have seen them on television, and the truth is that they, too, lie like a rug.
