LISBON- A 48-year-old Bath woman, Jan King, was injured in a three-car rear-end collision on the Sabattus River Bridge early Friday night.

According to Lisbon Reserve Officer, Thomas Stanton Sr., King was driving in a westerly direction on Route 196 and stopped for a car that had stopped on the bridge. Her car was struck in the rear by a car driven by Mary Anguiano, 55, of Lisbon Falls, which in turn was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Kenneth Murphy, 41, of Sabattus. The driver of the car that had stopped on the bridge, left the scene and was not identified.

King complained of a neck injury and was taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick by Lisbon Emergency.

Stanton estimated damage to King’s 2003 Jaguar at $2,000, Anguiano’s 2000 Oldsmobile at $2,000 and $2,000 to Murphy’s 2006 Ford in the 6 p.m. crash.
