LEWISTON – The wedding of Stacey Berube and Kevin Franks was held at 5 p.m., Aug. 10, at Holy Cross Church. Deacon Aaron Damboise officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Franks is the daughter of George and Madeleine Berube of Lewiston. Mr. Franks is the son of David and Shirley Franks of Lisbon.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a mock champagne two-piece gown of Duchess satin embellished with silver and gold bugle beads and a full semi-cathedral skirt designed with boxed pleats. The hemline was trimmed with the same embellishment as the top. She carried an arm bouquet of long-stemmed Calla lilies.

Lynn Lowe was matron of honor for her friend. Bridesmaids were Robin Berube, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jill Brown, Kristina Doughty and Peggy Rivard, all friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Jordan and Skyler Brown, friends of the bride. Makenzie Anderson, friend the couple, was flower girl.

Kevin Doughty served as best man for his friend. Ushers were Chris Berube, brother of the bride, Daren Franks, brother of the bridegroom, and Steve Dudley and Craig Morrissette, friends of the bridegroom. Ethan Berube, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Jamaica.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and is employed at Bilodeau Insurance.

The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Lisbon High School and is employed at Bath Iron Works.
