GLOSSARY – These legal terms are used: waived means the person charged gave up his right to appear in court; adjudicated means guilty of a civil violation; default means a person did not appear in court and the judge entered a guilty finding in the case; a finding of parole violation means a person violated a parole condition; filed means the case is to be dismissed at the end of filing period if conditions set are abided by. Court documents no longer reflect a person’s plea or their street addresses. The dates in the log are the dates of the original charge.

LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court:

Thomas Lyons, 48, Sabattus, operating while license suspended or revoked and violating condition of release on Aug. 7, found guilty on both charges, fined $250 on first charge; sentenced to two days on second charge.

Erika K. Lypps, 26, Lewiston, assault on July 9, sent to jury trial.

Leanna Mae Madonia Blankenship, 30, Port St. Luce, Fla., fugitive from justice on July 27, dismissed.

Emily Helene Madore, 32, Sabattus, allowing a dog to be at large and violating chapter 721 title 7 on May 28, offense committed on both charges, fined $250 on first charge; fined $50 on second charge.

James T. Mahon, 52, Greene, operating under the influence, with prior, and operating a vehicle without a license on May 10, both charges sent to jury trial.

Michelle R. Marston, 36, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on May 17, found guilty, fined $250.

Matthew R. Martin, 29, Poland, unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug on June 20, sent to jury trial.

Brett J. Mascetta, 19, Poland, operating under the influence on July 28, dismissed.

Alden Mason Jr., 34, Lewiston, two counts of assault on Aug. 19, found guilty on both charges, fined $300, sentenced to 90 days with all suspended and one year probation on first charge; fined $300 on second charge.

Jessica L. Mattson, 25, Auburn, possession of marijuana on July 8, offense committed, fined $350.

Michael E. McAllister, 34, Norway, criminal speed on July 22, found guilty, fined $400.

Samantha McAllister, 28, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on June 14, found guilty, fined $100.

Jackie Sarah McBurnie, 26, Lisbon, disorderly conduct on June 9, found guilty, fined $75.

Sean T. McDonough, 25, Lewiston, assault on June 3, 2006, found guilty, find $300, sentenced to 300 days with all but 10 days suspended, one year probation and restitution $1,075.

Marcus McEachern, 36, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Aug. 4, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Shannon M. McGraw, 24, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on July 14 and violating condition of release on Aug. 25, found guilty on both charges, fined $75 on first charge; sentenced to two days on second charge.

Richard H. McKenzie, 48, Monmouth, operating while license suspended or revoked on June 6, dismissed.

Timothy McNaught, 27, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on May 21, found guilty, fined $250.

Richard C. McNeil, 19, Lawrence, Mass., possessing liquor by a minor on May 20, offense committed, fined $200.

Thomas J. Mellette, 18, Sabattus, possession of marijuana on July 28, fined $350 by default.

Francisco C. Mendoza, 64, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on June 2, found guilty, fined $75.

Nicholas Merrill, 19, Auburn, transportation of liquor by a minor on July 14, offense committed, fined $100 and license suspended 30 days.

William Merrill, 18, Yarmouth, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on June 27, first charge dismissed; offense committed on second charge, fined $300.

Danean M. Messner, 33, Auburn, operating a vehicle without a license on March 29, found guilty, sentenced to 24 hours.

Christy L. Micklon, 27, Auburn, operating after registration suspended on June 4, found guilty, fined $100.

Scott A. Mitchell, 22, Turner, operating a vehicle without a license on May 30, found guilty, fined $100.

Abdikadir K. Mohamed, 50, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license on June 26, found guilty, fined $150.

Douglas Monson, 38, Lewiston, assault on Aug. 20, found guilty, fined $600 and license suspended 270 days.

Jeffrey S. Morin, 32, Lewiston, criminal mischief on April 8, found guilty, fined $100 and restitution of $10.

Robert R. Morin, 38, Lewiston, probation violation on a Aug. 24 assault charge, sentenced to 150 days and probation partially revoked.

Steven Leroy Mortimer, 21, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 30, 2006, found guilty, fined $100 and restitution of $4.90.

Derek F. Muncey, 21, Lewiston, assault on July 13, dismissed.

Donald E. Mundell, 23, Orange, Mass., disorderly conduct on June 24, found guilty, fined $75.

Scott L. Munsey, 48, Lewiston, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug and violating condition of release on Aug. 7, found guilty on both charges, fined $400 on first charge; sentenced to 14 days.

Lisa Gatts Murray, 38, Lewiston, sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 16, offense committed, fined $300.

Matthew P. Murray, 26, New Gloucester, possession of marijuana on May 19, offense committed, fined $350.

Thomas M. Mutty, 59, Lewiston, failure to return library property with replacement fee of $73.95, dismissed.

Nina M. Myatt, 18, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating condition of release on July 30, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to two days for each charge.

Norman Nadeau, 42, Turner, operating under the influence and operating while license suspended or revoked on June 23, found guilty on both charges, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days on first charge; fined $250 on second charge.

Michael J. Needham, 29, Sabattus, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, and violating condition of release on June 23, found guilty on both charges, fined $500 on first charge; sentenced to two days on second charge.

Steven J. Nelson, 29, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on June 30, found guilty, fined $100 and restitution of $40.03.

Noel L. Newell, 31, Durham, operating under the influence and shooting from motor vehicle or motorboat on June 28, found guilty on both charges, fined $500, sentenced to two days and license suspended 90 days on first charge; sentenced to five days on second charge.

Mark Niskanen, 46, Mechanic Falls, operating under the influence on June 10, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 96 hours and license suspended 90 days.

Markus L. Niva, 29, Minot, assault on Feb. 17, found guilty, fined $300.

Alicia L. Noddin, 20, Lisbon Falls, operating while license suspended or revoked on June 20, found guilty, fined $250.

Richard D. Noyes, 52, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on June 21, dismissed.

Edward O’Conner, 45, Auburn, disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on July 8, both charges dismissed.

Katherine B. O’Connor, 20, Lewiston, operating under the influence on May 23, sent to jury trial.

April Orchard, 30, Waldoboro, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, on June 16, found guilty, fined $600.

Jeffrey W. Ouellette, 21, Auburn, disorderly conduct on Aug. 5 and possession of marijuana on Aug. 4, found guilty on first charge, sentenced to two days; offense committed on second charge, fined $250.

Jeffrey W. Ouellette, 21, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Aug. 11, found guilty, sentenced to two days.

Brian J. Paladino, 31, Auburn, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident on June 5 and operating after registration suspended on May 4, found guilty on both charges, fined $75 on first charge; fined $150 on second charge.

Renee L. Paradis, 18, Lisbon, operating a vehicle without a license on June 13, found guilty, fined $100 with $50 suspended.

Travis A. Paradis, 22, Minot, operating while license suspended or revoked on June 13 and possession of marijuana on June 12, found guilty on first charge, fined $250; offense committed on second charge, fined $350.
