NEW GLOUCESTER – The wedding of Jamie Lynn Turcotte and Kai Christian Becksvoort was held at 11 a.m. June 30 at the First Congregational Church in New Gloucester. The Rev. Nash Garabedian officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Becksvoort is the daughter of Marc and Diane Turcotte of Poland. Mr. Becksvoort is the son of Chris and Peggy Becksvoort of New Gloucester.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory satin gown and carried a bouquet of white roses, white freesia and white bovardia.

A friend of the bride, Katie Messer, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Jess Turcotte, sister of the bride, and Lindsay Strait, cousin of the bride.

Serving as best man was Joel Messer, friend of the bridegroom. Ushers were Jason Turcotte, brother of the bride, and Greg Bazinet, friend of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Fireside Inn in Auburn, where cello and viola music was provided by Emily Thomas and Kallie Ciechomski.

The couple is residing in Portland.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Poland Regional High School and a 2007 graduate of Merrimack College. She is employed at the Harvest Place in Saco.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Hebron Academy and attended Maine Maritime Academy. He is employed by McAllister Towing of New York.
