LEWISTON – John Peffer has been appointed director of sales by FISC of Lewiston.

Peffer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and staff in the sales department while selling FISC’s products and services. During the past year, FISC has launched several check processing products through its remote deposit capture services suite, including branch and merchant capture. Peffer will primarily be selling those services to the financial institution market through the Northeast. He will travel extensively to broaden FISC’s geographical footprint.

Most recently, Peffer was employed at Pro-Teck Services in Waltham, Mass., as a national account executive. He was responsible for selling services related to the secondary mortgage market all over the United States. Prior to joining Pro-Teck Services, he worked with Bank of America in Danvers, Mass., as an account executive.

He received his bachelor of science degree from Boston University, and resides in Newburyport, Mass.
