Mother Goose

LEWISTON – On Saturday Nov. 10, at 11 a.m., Mother Goose will visit Percy’s Burrow all the way from Nursery Land. Percy The Prairie Dog himself invites all children, from ages 0 to 99, to greet Mother Goose and her friends. Mother Goose will only be in town for a short time, so be sure to arrive on time or a little before 11 a.m. Percy’s Burrow is in the Lewiston Mall, 20 East Ave. For more information, call 376-3225.

Join local singer Kelsey Franklin and friends for an evening of Broadway tunes, featuring Lynn Boren-McKellar, Bob Gauthier, Jamie Lupien, Rebecca Michals Rinaldi and Kevin Smith, accompanist, on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the Second Congregational Church, 205 Main St., Norway. Donation: $10 at the door.

Young Republic at UMF

Indie/rock favorites the Young Republic will return to Farmington for a concert at Nordica Auditorium on the University of Maine at Farmington campus on Saturday, Nov. 10. The band is signed to a British label and hails from Boston, but they have special ties to the Farmington area. Young Republic will take the stage at 8 p.m. The concert is free and sponsored by the Farmington Flyer newspaper.
