Each November, a week is earmarked to celebrate the successes of our American educational system. This year, American Education Week is Nov. 12-16, and with pride and the utmost respect, we honor our children’s educators.
American Education Week has special meaning in Lewiston, where hardworking educators help the students of our diverse community to become successful, independent adults. Each day, educators in Lewiston inspire students to overcome obstacles and strive to become lifelong learners. Educators incorporate traditional as well as technological methodology to ensure that Lewiston’s students are competitive in today’s world. Our students are among the best and brightest in the state, and part of the credit is due to our highly qualified, dedicated, caring and challenging educators.
By acknowledging and celebrating American Education Week, we also acknowledge and celebrate Lewiston’s educators.
