LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Nov. 5 with 36 members present. Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting.
The sick lists includes Marie Leblanc and Dora Slovak, who is at the Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center, Farmington. Shirley Toncer, Mary Groleau, Jean Luciano and Jeannine and Jim Williams were welcomed back.
A Chinese auction, which will consist of food items, will be held Monday, Nov. 12. On Monday, Nov. 19, the Jay Elementary School third and fourth grade students will entertain. Prior to their program, a meal will be provided by members at noon.
The 50-50 was won by Blanche Bilodeau and a door prize, donated by Marilyn Desoto, was won by Eugene Roy.
Ice cream and cake were served at the close of the meeting to honor members who celebrated their birthdays in October and November: Frances Berry, Blanche Bilodeau, Athanase Couture, Shirley Couture, Dianne Getz, Mary Lou Legere, Percy Ouellette, Joyce Richard, Doris Demillo, Doris Ouellette, Lois Gordon and Jeannine Williams.
Bingo and card games were played after the meeting.
