Church supper
WEST PARIS – The annual chicken pie supper at the First Universalist Church on Main Street will be held tonight (Thursday, Nov. 15). There will be two seatings, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be on sale beginning at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $7 for ages 12 and older and $5 for children 11 and under.
Benefit supper
PARIS – A benefit supper will be held from 4 p.m. until sold out Friday, Nov. 16, at the Paris Fire Station, Western Avenue, to help the O’Neil family cover the funeral costs as a result of the unexpected death of their father, David O’Neil. Menu will include spaghetti, bread, beverage and dessert. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children.
Extravaganza
PARIS – The Women’s Business Expo and Holiday Extravaganza will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Four Seasons Function Center in Paris. It is free to the public.
The night will include demonstrations, live entertainment, door prizes and refreshments.

Christian women
PARIS – Christian Women United will meet Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the First Congregational Church in South Paris. Luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m. The speaker will be Marie Dow of Newport. Those who have not been contacted and would like to make a reservation may call Pearl Anderson at 743-5724.
Sunday service
BUCKFIELD – Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, South Paris, will hold its 25th Sunday after Pentecost celebration, with Pastor Male conducting the service at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m.
Library lending
PARIS – Hamlin Memorial Library, between Nov. 17 and Dec. 1, will lend books that do not have to be returned to the library until April 1. The library’s hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays through Dec. 1.

Telstar fair
BETHEL – The 21st annual Telstar Craft Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Telstar Regional High School, Route 26.
The fair will feature quality products and returning will be a raffle table, lunch and a bake sale, along with face-painting and balloons for the kids.
