PARIS – The Paris Public Library friends group, the Seneca Club, has been revised. The club is composed of volunteers who are committed to making the library a center of community life.
The library will hold an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, to kickoff the new Seneca Club, at which time members of the board of trustees will be on hand to answer questions. Refreshments will be served.
Through different levels of annual membership fees and fundraising efforts, the club contributes financial support to the library, which provides additional resources and services.
The club assists with library programs and activities.
The library invites residents to become a part of the organization as a member and/or as a volunteer.
