SOUTH PARIS – Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School plans a pair of special basketball events this Saturday.

The current boys’ basketball program will honor the 1962-63 and 1963-64 teams that advanced to state tournament play.

All team members and their families from those season are cordially invited.

These were the only Oxford Hills teams to qualify for the playoffs until the 1987-88 season.

In honor of that second groundbreaking team, the 1987-88 Vikings varsity will play this year’s varsity squad at 7:30 p.m.

That game is a fundraiser for the current varsity program. Donations are gratefully accepted. The evening’s schedule of events is as follows:

5 p.m. – Old Timers’ Game (all classes before 1988)

6 p.m. – Ceremony to honor the 1962-63 and 1963-64 teams

6:15 p.m. – Recent Alumni Game (1989 through 2007)

7:15 p.m. – Ceremony to honor the 1987-88 team

7:30 p.m. – OHCHS varsity vs. 1987-88
