AUBURN – Brandon Baines of Scarborough, champion yo-yo performer, will amaze kids with his tricks again this year at the Holiday Festival for Children, sponsored by Advocates for Children.

The festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at St. Dominic Regional High School.

Along with Baines, children have the chance to sing along with Maine’s own children’s entertainer, Rick Charette, meet the wildlife critters from Sparks’ Ark, play games and make free crafts.

Also at the festival will be CHIPS, the Masonic child ID program, a book sale and a performance by the Bates College a capella group, the Crosstones. Children will also have the opportunity to visit with Santa.
