WELD – The wedding of Shannon Rose Irish and Tristan E. Coffin was held at 2 p.m., Sept. 1, by Webb Lake at the Kawanhee Inn in Weld. Gary Dyke officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Coffin is the daughter of James and Terri Irish of Carthage. Mr. Coffin is the son of Gary and Elizabeth Coffin of Mexico.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full-length white gown trimmed with candy apple red and she carried a dozen red roses.

A friend of the bride, Lacey Bartlett, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Nicole Irish and Allison Irish, cousins, and Brianna Houghton, Gina Gifune and Amanda Pidacks, friends. Jasmine King, friend, was flower girl.

Serving as best man was Tom Craig. Ushers were Matthew Irish, brother of the bride, and Curtis Boucher, Tina Maloney and Paul Bouchard, friends. Levi King, friend, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Kawanhee Inn in Weld, after which the couple traveled to Kennebunk. They are residing in Auburn.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Dirigo High School and a 2007 Magna Cum Laude graduate of St. Joseph’s College. She is employed at Giraffe Event Consultants in Falmouth.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Mountain Valley High School in Rumford and is employed at Paychex in Auburn.
