While the snowmakers at Lost Valley were connecting their snow making guns for the first time Saturday night, SNOWMAD members, the local snowboard group, hauled in bales of hay and set the first terrain park of the season. While other members were on the last trip from a nearby ice rink with a flatbed full of ice scrapings that would finish the last of three runs set up for a Rail Jam fundraiser to raise money for a bigger and better terrain park, Brian May, 17, of Lisbon packs the run down and catches some air before hitting the rail.
