Dr. James F. Helmkamp of Auburn, as part of the Crown Council’s Smiles for Life campaign, offered teeth whitening services at a reduced cost and donated the proceeds to help children facing health and educational problems, raising more than $1,700. Half of the funds raised were contributed to Auburn-Lewiston Boys and Girls Club and the other half to the Garth Brooks’ Teammates for Kids Foundation for use in health, education and inner city programs that benefit children. From left are Robert Clark, Pat Finnegan and Helmkamp. For more information about Smiles for Life, visit www.smilesforlife.org or call Helmkamp at 782-3971 or www.helmkampdental.com.
