Chad Porter, an accomplished guitar and piano player, will perform from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Holly’s Own Deli & Wine Bar, 84 Court St. Auburn. An Augusta native, Porter uses his hard, nonregretful childhood to form the basis for his singing and songwriting. His deep mellow voice and clean guitar are reminiscent of a younger John Fogarty.
