Discovery School hosts information sessions

LEWISTON – Starting Wednesday, Dec. 5, the Discovery School will hold a series of free information sessions, open to residents, including students, families and volunteers.

The purpose of the sessions is to give interested individuals an overview of the school’s philosophy and offerings, a short tour of the school facility and an opportunity to ask questions they may have.

December sessions will begin at 6 p.m. at the school, located in the New Life Community Center, 134 College St., on Wednesdays, Dec. 5, 12 and 19.

The school is Lewiston-Auburn’s newest grades kindergarten to 12 school. It offers students an individualized, interest-driven curriculum in a small community setting.
