GLOSSARY – These legal terms are used: waived means the person charged gave up his right to appear in court; adjudicated means guilty of a civil violation; default means a person did not appear in court and the judge entered a guilty finding in the case; a finding of parole violation means a person violated a parole condition; filed means the case is to be dismissed at the end of filing period if conditions set are abided by. Court documents no longer reflect a person’s plea or their street addresses. The dates in the log are the dates of the original charge.

LEWISTON – The following cases were closed recently in 8th District Court:

Soloman Francis Mwangoka, 35, Lewiston, unlawful sexual contact and three counts of assault on Aug. 9, all charges sent to jury trial.

Richard W. Myers Jr., 49, Lewiston, operating under the influence on July 30 and operating a vehicle without a license on July 29, found guilty on both charges, fined $500 and sentenced to 48 hours, license suspended 90 days on first charge; fined $100 on second charge.

Randi D. Neal, 26, Paris, operating after habitual offender revocation on July 11 and July 19, both charges sent to jury trial.

Holly D. Nelson, 24, Auburn, operating under the influence on Aug. 3, found guilty, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days.

James R. Newcomb, 41, Livermore, operating under the influence on Aug. 17, sent to jury trial.

Thomas J. Newell, 32, Auburn, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, on April 19, and attaching false plates on April 16, found guilty on first charge, fined $700; second charge dismissed.

Chad Nichols, 19, Auburn, operating a vehicle without a license on Aug. 1, found guilty, fined $100.

Matthew J. Niemi, 18, Turner, assault on March 26, criminal threatening and two counts of criminal mischief on July 29, all charges sent to jury trial.

Mark Niskanen, disorderly conduct due to loud unreasonable noise on Sept. 2 and violating condition of release on Sept. 29, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to two days on first charge; sentenced to four days on second charge.

Cynthia M. Noon, 48, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 22, found guilty, fined $100.

David L. Norris, 54, Mechanic Falls, operating under the influence on July 10, transferred to Superior Court.

John T. Noyes, 42, Lewiston, assault and criminal threatening on Aug. 21, both charges sent to jury trial.

Hector Nunez Mendez Jr., 24, Lewiston, operating under the influence, operating while license suspended or revoked and violating condition of release on Oct. 6, found guilty on all charges, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days on first charge; fined $250 on second charge; sentenced to 24 hours on third charge.

Randolph S. Nutter, 41, Auburn, violating a protective order on May 11, and violating a protective order and violating condition of release on Sept. 28, found guilty on all charges, sentenced to 120 days with all suspended and one year probation on first charge; sentenced to two days for each on second and third charges.

Ryan M. Ohara, 23, Auburn, sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 29, fined $300 by default.

Sonia Ohara, 37, Minot, theft of services on Oct. 19, 1995, dismissed.

Shawn R. Obrien, 39, Wales, operating under the influence, with prior, and possession of marijuana on Jan. 5, first charge dismissed; fined $350 by default on second charge.

Michael J. Olcott, 25, Lisbon, operating an unregistered ATV on July 26, fined $100 by default.

Tod W. Oliver, 36, Farmington, operating while license suspended or revoked on Aug. 25, found guilty, fined $250.

Jessie M. Osullivan, 23, Auburn, operating under the influence on Aug. 26, sent to jury trial.

Daniel A. Ouellette, 44, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and driving to endanger on April 30, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 15 days on first charge; fined $575, sentenced to 15 days and license suspended 30 days on second charge.

Casey A. Paige, 18, Farmington, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, on June 1, found guilty, fined $600.

Derek Shane Palange, 31, Sabattus, operating under the influence, with prior, and operating while license suspended or revoked on Sept. 30, found guilty on both charges, fined $900, sentenced to 12 days, license suspended 18 months and registration suspended on first charge; fined $250 with all suspended on second charge.

Kevin Pease, 29, Auburn, violating condition of release on March 18, dismissed.

Gregory J. Pelletier, 37, Lewiston, criminal mischief and violating condition of release on June 29, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, sentenced to one day.

Stacie L. Pelletier, 20, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on April 23, found guilty, fined $375 and sentenced to seven days.

Hipolito Perez, 39, Auburn, operating under the influence on Aug. 25, sent to jury trial.

Justin D. Perron, 24, Lisbon, operating after registration suspended on May 19, dismissed.

Jeremy M. Perry, 21, Oxford, operating under the influence and driving to endanger on April 22, found guilty on first charge, fined $500, sentenced to 96 hours and license suspended 90 days; second charge dismissed.

Andrew A. Pitter, 32, Auburn, assault and carrying a concealed weapon on June 9, both charges dismissed; also charged with operating under the influence and violating condition of release on Sept. 2, found guilty on both charges, fined $500 on first charge; sentenced to 48 hours on second charge.

Joseph Daniel Pleasant, 42, Lewiston, violating a protective order on Feb. 20 and Oct. 31, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to two days for each charge.

Brian S. Plourde, 34, Sabattus, operating while license suspended or revoked and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on May 29, both charges dismissed.

Jeff P. Pomerleau, 33, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, and attaching false plates on April 24, found guilty on first charge, fined $500; second charge dismissed.

Laura J. Pomerleau, 23, Sabattus, operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, on Dec. 30, 2006, and Jan. 21, found guilty on first charge, fined $500 and sentenced to four days; second charge dismissed; also charged with operating while license suspended or revoked, with prior, and violating condition of release on May 1, found guilty on both charges, fined $500 and sentenced to four days on first charge; sentenced to four days on second charge.

Bruce M. Poulin, 21, Lewiston, operating while license suspended or revoked on Feb. 23, found guilty, fined $250.

Patricia Poulin, 44, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and forgery on Dec. 23, 2006, both charges filed with no cost.

Ashley Powell, 19, Livermore, disorderly conduct on May 20, found guilty, fined $75.

Amy M. Proctor, 22, Lisbon, operating under the influence on Sept. 15, found guilty, fined $500 and license suspended 90 days.

Jeremy P. Proctor, 22, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on April 27, found guilty, fined $150.

Kristopher Todd Pulk, 23, Auburn, assault and obstructing the report of a crime on May 26, both charges filed with no cost.

James D. Purcell, 39, Morris, Ga., operating under the influence and operating while license suspended or revoked on July 14, both charges sent to jury trial.

Theresa J. Putnam, 21, Poland, operating while license suspended or revoked on Aug. 24, found guilty, fined $250.

Eva Jean Quinn, 21, Auburn, attaching false plates on May 23, found guilty, fined $100.

Timothy G. Ratliff, 28, Randelman, N.C., duty status not current rule violation on Aug. 6, found guilty, fined $250.

Kathryn L. Reagan, 18, Lisbon, possession of liquor by a minor on Aug. 13, offense committed, fined $200.

Nathan L. Reed, 24, Auburn, operating under the influence and failing to stop, remain and/or provide information on Sept. 18, found guilty on both charges, fined $700, sentenced to 12 days, license suspended 18 months and registration suspended on first charge; fined $100 on second charge.

Deanna Revock, 41, Auburn, criminal mischief on June 10, dismissed.

Michelle L. Reynolds, 24, Auburn, operating under the influence, with prior, on July 5, both charges sent to jury trial.

Joshua M. Ring, 26, Lewiston, possession of marijuana on Sept. 14, found guilty, fined $350.

Kevin A. Ritchie, 47, Lewiston, violating condition of release on Oct. 23, found guilty, fined 200.

Stephanie A. Roberts, 23, Lewiston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and forgery on Dec. 23, 2006, both charges filed with no cost.

Christopher G. Rogers, 30, Fitchburg, Mass., fugitive from justice on Oct. 18 and failing to comply with sex offender registration ace on Oct. 9, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, sentenced to five days.

Delbert R. Rogers, 47, Jay, operating under the influence on Aug. 10, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to two days and license suspended 90 days.

Jimmy L. Rolfe, 42, Livermore, assault on June 1, dismissed.

Kristopher Rowe, 20, Lewiston, sale and use of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 26, offense committed, fined $300.

David Roy, 53, Lewiston, operating a vehicle without a license on July 26, found guilty, fined $150.

Dorothy R. Roy, 22, Auburn, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on June 8, diminimus, not enough information to bring charges.

Steven Ruarke, 53, Lisbon, operating while license suspended or revoked and possession of marijuana on March 27, first charge dismissed; offense committed on second charge, fined $500.

Trask E. Russo, 45, Lewiston, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Oct. 12, found guilty, fined $400.

Jeanette A. Ryerson, 40, Litchfield, permitting unlawful use and failure to register vehicle on Aug. 8, found guilty on both charges, fined $100 on first charge; fined $200 on second charge.

Juan Salinas Jr., 29, Turner, operating a vehicle without a license on June 16 and April 30, first charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $200.

Stephen J. Sands, 36, Lewiston, possession of marijuana on Aug. 13, offense committed, fined $350.

Jorge Santana, 26, East Hartford, Conn., operation without duty record rule violation on Aug. 3, found guilty, fined $500.

Aaron Matthew Sayler, 28, Lewiston, disorderly conduct on July 28, found guilty, fined $75.

Emily J. Scire, 33, Wales, operating a vehicle without a license on March 12, dismissed.

Michelle Wanda Scott, 38, Lewiston, assault on Aug. 21, sent to jury trial.

Jesse A. Shepherd, 32, Lisbon, indecent conduct and violating condition of release on July 7, found guilty on both charges, sentenced to 48 hours for each charge.

Joseph Shepperd, 18, Lewiston, assault on Aug. 8, found guilty, fined $300.

Kenneth C. Simpson, 20, Lewiston, assault on Feb. 24, found guilty, fined $300, sentenced to 364 days with all suspended and two years suspension.

Anita D. Smith, 63, Lewiston, fugitive from justice on Aug. 8, dismissed.
