GREENE – Androscoggin Grange 8 is holding its fourth annual “Snow Critter Challenge” from the first snowfall until April 1, 2008, for Greene residents.

Residents can build a snow critter and then call Cindy Morin at 946-3434. She will take a video and photo of the critter. The critter can be big, small, an animal, person, replica of a building, a traditional snowman or whatever a person can dream up. It must be made entirely of snow, although coloring may be used.

The contest is open to all ages. Prizes are cash, pizza and movie certificates. For more information, call Morin at 946-3434 or Carol Buzzell at 946-7746.
