GLOSSARY – These legal terms are used: waived means the person charged gave up the right to appear in court; adjudicated means guilty of a civil violation; default means a person did not appear in court and the judge entered a guilty finding in the case; a finding of parole violation means a person violated a parole condition; filed means the case is to be dismissed at the end of filing period if conditions set are abided by. Court documents no longer reflect a person’s plea or their street addresses. The dates in the log are the dates of the original charge.
FARMINGTON – The following cases were closed recently in Franklin County Superior Court:
David W. Bartlett Jr., 45, of Augusta, probation violations on two May 9, 2003, assault charges, sentenced to one year and probation revoked on first charge; sentenced to five years, all but four years suspended and four years probation on second charge.
Jesse J. Clement, 24, of Lewiston, charged with unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug, Dec. 1, 2005, in Farmington; found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 30 days.
Harold M. Dow, 43, of Jay, charged with possessing sexually explicit material of a minor under 12, Nov. 2, 2006, in Strong. Probation violation, sentenced to 30 days, probation partially revoked, probation continued.
Scott D. Fotter, 37, of Eustis, charged with criminal forfeiture of property, April 13, in New Vineyard, forfeited.
Ellen Grant, 59, of New Sharon, charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, Jan. 1, 2002, in New Sharon; dismissed.
Robert S. Hardy, 48, Rangeley, charged with violating condition of release, June 24, in Rangeley; found guilty, sentenced to 15 months.
Robert S. Hardy, 48, Rangeley, charged with two counts of violating condition of release and operating a vehicle without a license, Sept. 21, in Rangeley; all charges dismissed.
Joseph McKenna, 37, of Wilton, charged with two counts of criminal threatening, July 25, in Wilton; both charges dismissed.
Curt Mercer, 21 of Phillips, charged with assault and disorderly conduct, July 28, in Rangeley; assault charge dismissed; found guilty on second charge, fined $200.
Nicholas J. F. Metz, 24, of Exeter, N.H., charged with operating under the influence, May 20, in Farmington; found guilty, fined $700, sentenced to 72 hours, licensed suspended 90 days.
Bradley J. Morin, 19, of Jay, charged with operating under the influence, April 8, in Jay, found guilty, fined $1,000, sentenced to 48 hours, license suspended 90 days; charged with motor vehicle speeding 30 or more miles per hour over the speed limit, April 8, in Jay; dismissed.
Philip A. Mosher, 24, of Jay, charged with assault and obstructing the report of a crime, Feb. 24, in Farmington; found guilty on the first charge, fined $300, sentenced to 180 days all but 30 days suspended, probation 1 year; second charge dismissed.
Souksakhone T. Pholsina, 33, of Lewiston, charged with assault, Sept. 2, 2006, in Jay; probation violation, sentenced to 165 days, probation partially revoked, probation continued.
Sabel M. Pratt, 21, of New Vineyard, charged with operating under the influence, July 4, in Farmington, found guilty, fined $500, license suspended 90 days.
Stephen Rainsford, 35, of South Portland, charged with assault, March 4, in Rangeley, dismissed.
Steven B. Rogers, 40, of Rangeley, charged with operating under the influence, priors, Aug. 24, in Phillips, dismissed.
Rebecca J. Sawyer, 40, of Jay, charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, Oct. 26, in Farmington, found guilty, fined $100; charged with violating condition of release, Oct. 26, in Farmington, found guilty, fined $100.
Robert T. Sheehan III, 34, of Chesterville, charged with operating under the influence with one prior, Nov. 24, 2006, in Farmington, found guilty fined $700, sentenced to 21 days, license suspended 18 months.
Hope M. Stenson, 39, of Farmington, charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, May 20, in Farmington, found guilty, fined $300, sentenced to 48 hours.
Angela Mae Taylor, 36, of Jay, charged with aiding escape, Aug. 13, 2006, in Farmington, found guilty, sentenced to two years with all but 21 days suspended, two years probation and 200 hours community service.
Angela Mae Taylor, 36, of Portland, charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, May 5, 2005, in Jay, found guilty, fined $800 and sentenced to 21 days.
Michael R. Trytek Jr., 23, of Chelsea, charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, criminal forfeiture of property, June 15, in Farmington, all charges filed with no cost.
