LEWISTON – Jean Paul Lessard, 49, a resident of Pond Road, Wales, died unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 9, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Lewiston, Sept. 26, 1958, the son of Roland and Mignonne (Morrissette) Lessard.

He attended Lewiston schools and was a 1977 graduate of Lewiston High School. He married the former Rita Guimond on Sept. 6, 1980, and together raised four sons. He had been employed for more than 21 years at LL Bean as an embroider and monogrammer in the design department.

Survivors include his wife, Rita of Wales; his mother, Mignonne Domaingue of Lewiston; four sons, Brandon, Justin, Tyler and Tanner, all of Lewiston; two brothers, Ronald and Donald Lessard, both of Lewiston; and one sister, Venise Monto and her husband, Russ, of Auburn.
