BRIDGTON – Eight local organizations will join the Bridgton Historical Society at the Community Center for a Christmas Sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.

Participating are South Bridgton Church, Bridgton Hospital Guild, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, UCC SERRV Mission Committee, Daughters of the Nile (Shrine), Good Neighbors; the Arts and Crafts Society; and the Community Center.

Most of the organizations are raising funds for specific projects: the Historical Society, replacing the roof on the barn at Narramissic, the 1797 property of the society; South Bridgton Church, the steeple; St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, a church building; and UCC Mission Committee, to benefit the SERRV program in developing countries.

The sale will offer Christmas arrangements and ornaments, holly baskets, gifts for children and adults, a food table with Christmas breads, jams, jellies, cookies, candy, quilt squares, calendars of local scenes, a book by the South Bridgton Church mouse and new miscellaneous items.

The Community Center will serve luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Santa has scheduled a visit at the sale.
