LEWISTON – Stiga Maine Table Tennis League results of Dec. 10 from Lewiston Armory: A Table – Sonu Bhatia. Jim Nason; B Table – Al Treworgy, Matt Williams; C Table – Sebastian Taylor, Dick Harris. Treworgy was Player of the Week.
Dec. 8 saw 2 players from the Maine Table Tennis League attending the MIT Tournament in Boston. Rick Shea and Al Landry came in second in the Doubles Event and came home with the runner-up trophy.
The league will hold a Doubles tournament on Dec. 17. To spice up the competition, the highest ranked player will be matched with the lowest ranked as a partner, with teams determined accordingly.
