FARMINGTON – The sixth annual Leadership Western Maine program will present a series of workshops and technical supports throughout the region from Jan. 2 to March 19.

Participants enroll in the whole series and learn how to turn their vision for a community project into action, inspire others and build collaboration, raise funds and write grants, facilitate effective meetings, present their ideas to the public and organize a coalition or a board of directors.

People in Somerset, Franklin and Oxford counties should register by Saturday, Dec. 29. Applications are available at www.westernmountainsalliance.org or by calling 778-3885. The series is being sponsored by Western Mountains Alliance.
