LIVERMORE FALLS – The seventh annual free community Christmas dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Christmas Day, at the American Legion Post Hall on Reynolds Avenue. All are welcome.

Those who wish to attend should call Karen at 897-3593 by Sunday, Dec. 23, and leave a name and how many will be attending. Home delivery will be available.

In order for the dinner to take place, members rely on volunteers who are willing to help by cooking, working on Christmas Day or giving donations to help defray expenses.

For those who would like to cook, they will need 15 pies, 16 batches of cookies and nine or 10 dozen rolls.

They are also are looking for several turkeys and hams, 25 pounds of potatoes, 20 pounds of squash and stuffing and gravy mixes.

Those who can donate any of the items are asked to call Betty at 897-6109.

Those who wish to work Christmas Day should call Karen at 897-3593.

Any excess donations of money or food will given to the food bank.
