LEWISTON – American Legion Post 22 will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Multi-Purpose Center on Birch Street.

Joseph Paradis, trustee and service officer, said Sen. Peggy Rotundo will speak on veterans’ issues in Augusta, with a question-and-answer period to follow.

Paradis said he will be able to help veterans who may qualify for the new state Silver Star Honorable Service Medal.

He will have available the proper request form.

Second Vice Commander Raymond Allen, assisted by his wife, Louise Allen, Auxiliary member, will serve a Christmas buffet lunch with decorations and a centerpiece. Jerry DerBoghosian, post adjutant, will raffle hams.
