No bingo till January

AUBURN – The New Auburn Senior Citizens met Dec. 5 with President Virginia Levasseur presiding. December birthdays were noted and small gifts were given. Pot of gold winners were Jackie Lothrop, Mary Gagne, Lorraine Lapointe and Jeannine Roux.

Auburn Mayor John Jenkins visited the New Auburn Seniors in November and helped serve the annual turkey dinner.

There will be no bingo during the rest of December due to the holidays.

If school is closed due to a storm, the group will postpone the meeting day and dinner day from Wednesday to Thursday but will not open for open bingo the other weeks.

The meeting adjourned and a light lunch was served with bingo following. The next meeting will be Wednesday, Jan. 2.
