MEXICO – The Northern Oxford Regional Solid Waste Board Transfer Station and Recycling Center will close at noon on Monday, Dec. 24. The station will be closed Christmas Day and reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

RUMFORD – Pennacook Art Center will host its fourth annual Christmas Carol Sing-Along at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, in the gallery.

The event is informal, free and open to the public. It will feature live music and traditional carols. Those playing an instrument are invited to bring them. The gallery will supply sheet music and cookies.

Pennacook Art Center is located at 82 Congress St. and is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. until Saturday, Dec. 22. For more information, call 364-9972.
