NORWAY – The Norway Memorial Library Children’s Department will celebrate the books of author/illustrator Jan Brett in the program “Jan Brett’s Winter Wonderland” from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27.

Students in grades kindergarten through three are invited to hear three Brett favorites: “The Three Snow Bears,” “The Mitten” and “The Gingerbread Baby.”

Students will also make related crafts, including Inuit-style soap carvings, animal masks, and gingerbread houses.

Preregistration is required; call the Children’s Department at 743-5308 by Wednesday, Dec. 26.
