AUBURN – Members of Androscoggin Pomona Grange will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Sabbathday Lake Grange in New Gloucester for a 6 p.m. supper. The meeting will begin at 7:30, at which time a program will be presented by the Agriculture Committee. A 50/50 raffle and an attendance drawing will be held. All members and guests are welcome.

Seniors to meet

AUBURN – The First Auburn Seniors will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at the Hasty Community Center. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m. and the regular meeting will follow at 11.

Tickets will be on sale for a spaghetti dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 16. Bingo will be played.

Winners at the recent Christmas dinner at Martindale were Judy Agnew, Adele Delmonico, Anna Gavel, Caroline Chapman, Buzz Edwards, Joan Dechene, June Bowman, Guy Donahue and Betty Hebert. When there is no school due to bad weather, there will be no meeting.

Fellowship

LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Area Widows Fellowship will meet Monday, Jan. 7, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, School Street. The gathering begins for fellowship at 11:30 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch. All interested widows in the area are invited.

LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Historical Society’s Wednesday, Jan. 9, meeting will be titled “Antiques Night at the Archive Museum.” Everyone is encouraged to bring an antique or two to show members and guests and share a story about the items. A social will follow.

Meeting are held at 7 p.m. at the Lisbon Historical Society Archive Museum at the MTM Center, 18 School St., rooms 5 and 6. Use the rear entrance; doors open at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to the free program.

Habitat to meet

LEWISTON – The annual meeting of Androscoggin Habitat for Humanity will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, in the Business Service Center at Key Bank Plaza, 415 Lisbon St. All are welcome. Anyone wishing to volunteer is encouraged to attend.

Annual meeting

NEW GLOUCESTER – The 73rd annual meeting of the New Gloucester Historical Society will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the New Gloucester Meetinghouse, 389 Intervale Road. All members are invited.
