The Maranacook bantams won three of four games during the last couple of weeks to improve to 10-4-1.

On Dec. 22, Central Maine Gold posted a 5-1 victory over Maranacook at Colby College. Dakota Bowie scored Maranacook’s lone goal, while River Mullan was the goalie. Max Poulin scored twice for CM Gold.

Maranacook won all three games this past weekend. It opened with a 5-2 win over Lewiston. Bowie scored four gaols and Tony McIver scored once. Assists were by Tom Pietroski, Danny Welch, Tyler Leet (2). Tyler Houle and Jordan Charest scored for Lewiston, while Matt Roy and Tyler Houle had assists.

The team then beat Kennebec/Gardiner 5-3 and Central Maine White 2-1. Bowie scored in each game, while McIver, Pietroski, George Bragdon, Sam Bryant, Ian Palmer also scored. Earning assists in the two games were Pietroski, McIver, Bragdon, Palmer (2) and Bryant. Mullan was the winning goalie.
