7th-8th Grade Travel League

Dixfield defeated MCI 49-16 in the Central Maine boys’ seventh-eighth grade travel league. Cody St. Germain led Dixfield with 14 points and Mitchell Stanley had 10. Adam Ogden scored seven points for MCI and Austin Frost had six.

Hoop clinic

LEWISTON – There is still room for youth to join others, ages 4-7 in the Rec’s 2008 Youth Basketball Instructional Clinics. The clinics begin Saturday, Jan. 5, and run thru Feb. 9, from 8 8:45 a.m. for ages 4-5, and 8:45-9:30 a.m. for ages 6-7. The program is $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents, and includes a T-shirt. Stop by the Lewiston Department of Recreation, 65 Central Avenue, prior to Jan. 5 to register.
