FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Children’s Task Force has announced an opportunity for new parents and their infants to meet each other and possibly create their own ongoing support structures.

There will be four ‘Coffee Klatches’ in 2008 for parents of infants. Coffee, tea, juice, fruit and bagels will be provided along with time to chat about the reality of being a parent.

There will be developmental appropriate activities and information about infants available. The ‘Coffee Klatches’ will be held at the Franklin County Children’s Task Force office, 113 Church St.

The specific dates, times and infant ages are: Wednesday, Jan. 23, parents and babies ages birth to 9 months; Wednesdays, April 23, July 23 or Oct. 22, parents, prenatal and babies birth to 6 months, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
