Clubs set dance

RUMFORD – Four area snowmobile clubs will sponsor a “Think Snow” dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Eagles Hall, Oxford Avenue. The Hooligans will provide the music.

Tickets are available from officers of each club: Dixfield, Mexico, Peru and Rumford There will be a 50/50 raffle and other prizes. It is a major fundraiser for each club.

Basket bingo

WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Elementary School will hold a Longaberger basket bingo to benefit the fifth grade class trip to Boston. It will be held in Locke Mills Legion Hall at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27. Doors will open at 11 a.m.
