AUBURN – The Auburn City Republican Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, in the Community Room on the second floor of Auburn Hall. The meeting is open to any registered Republicans in Auburn.

The committee will complete plans for its presidential caucus on Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Multi-Purpose Center in Lewiston. The only chance Republican voters will have a chance to express their presidential preference prior to the general election in November will be during the poll taken at the caucuses held statewide on Feb. 1 and 2. There will be no presidential primary election in Maine.

At the caucus, delegates will be chosen to attend the Maine State Republican Convention in Augusta on May 2 and 3.
